Ron Hays, Director of Farm Programming
Directing our Farm Programming efforts is one of the leading farm broadcast professionals in the US, Ron Hays. Hays is a Past President of the National Association of Farm Broadcasting, a National Farm Broadcaster of the Year, a Three Time Winner of the Oscars in Agriculture Award and has been inducted into the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters Hall of Fame- the only full time farm broadcaster that has been so honored.Ron has been a part of the farm broadcast business since 1974- and has been a part of the Oklahoma farm broadcast scene since 1977. He has traveled over a million miles covering the business of agriculture to report to and report for Oklahoma's Farmers and Ranchers.
Here, you can see Ron thanking one of the Chinese hosts in Beijing, China that welcomed the Oklahoma Ag Leadership Class 13 to China earlier in 2008. Ron serves as the Chairman of the OSU Ag Leadership Advisory Council.
Ed Richards
As our Associate Farm Director, Ed is responsible for delivering our market updates throughout the trading day in his rich baritone voice. The veteran broadcaster also subs for Ron Hays when he is on assignment on our morning and midday farm news on the Radio Oklahoma Network.
Alan Clepper
Alan is Program Director for our Enid Affiliate, KOFM and has been named as the Small Market Personality of the Year by the Oklahoma Association of Broadcasters multiple times. For RON, he uses his talents in production for commercials & promos as well as backing up Ed Richards on Market Updates when Ed is out on assignment.
