No Sacred Cows at NCBA as Reorganization is Contemplated
Wed, 16 Jul 2008 22:42:22 CDTThe cattle producer leaders of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) have appointed a task force to identify potential changes to the governance structure of NCBA, the nation’s leading cattle organization representing more than 31,000 members.
The task force is charged with identifying changes that will strengthen NCBA’s service to its members. Its task will be to find ways to improve the association’s ability to respond to consumer, regulatory and legislative issues impacting the cattle and beef industries efficiently and effectively.
Andy Groseta, President of the NCBA, told us here in Denver as we cover the Summer Cattle Industry Conference- a service of Hudson Livestock Supplements- that he has told members of the Task Force that there are "No Sacred Cows" within the NCBA- that as the Task Force works- everything about the organization is on the table.
We have our conversation with Andy about this reorganization investigation that this Task Force will work on over the next one to two years- it's available here on this page below.
