A Full Plate of Issues Face Cattle Producers in Washington We are covering the Summer Cattle Industry Conference in Denver this week, brought to you in part by Hudson Livestock Supplements and we just finished a conversation with Colin Woodall of the NCBA's Washington office.

Colin visited with us about COOL, about the Critical Feed Use provisions of CRP and the court case putting those provisions on hold and some humane handling issues that the Senate Appropriations Committee is looking at this week. Woodall is very concerned about a plan by California Senator Diane Feinstein to offer an amendment that would offer federal regulation of humane treatment of livestock- very specific regulations.
