Higher Grain Prices Means More Chance for Profit With Good Management Practices

Wed, 30 Jul 2008 11:39:13 CDT

We talked with Al Luke of Bayer Crop Science, who was the leadoff speaker for the 5th Annual Wheat Technology Conference underway in downtown Oklahoma City today.

We talked with Al about the changing agricultural business- and the opportunities this offers agricultural producers. Luke says that the new price levels we have seen for crops here in 2008 make using herbicides, fungicides and seed treatments a much more valuable investment for producers today comared to just a couple of years ago.

And, we talked about how Bayer continues to be one of the leaders when it comes to R&D in ag chemical development- Al told us about how the pipeline continues to be full of potential products that will have a positive impact on the crop agriculture.
