Agricultural Leaders Discuss New Report on Sustainable Future
Demand for food, feed, fiber and energy in the United States is on the rise, while the need for critical ecosystem services like flood control, water filtration, biodiversity and carbon sequestration is higher than ever.


To help landowners and manager address these challenges, today Solutions from the Land (SFL) unveiled "Developing a New Vision for United States Agriculture, Forestry, and Conservation" at a Farm Foundation Forum in Washington, D.C.


"A New Vision" uses the latest scientific information to jumpstart a stakeholder dialogue in which farmers, ranchers and foresters will be valued for the full range of goods and services they deliver from the land.
