OCA Honors Frederick Drummond of Pawhuska as Their Cattleman of the Year

At the 2014 Oklahoma Cattlemen's Association Convention, a number of awards were handed out- including the highest award that the organization gives to one of it's own members- the OCA Cattleman of the Year. Former OCA President Frederick Drummond of Pawhuska was honored here in 2014 (seen here) and after the presentation, Farm Director Ron Hays of the Radio Oklahoma Ag Network spent a few moments with Frederick and you can hear their conversation by clicking the LISTEN BAR at the bottom of this story.
Drummond talked with Hays about the changes he has seen in the US cattle industry over the years- saying he has had cattle that were small in type and then a few years later looked huge- but that he is proud that the industry today is really focused on providing the consumer a great product for their families to enjoy.
