Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers steady to 4.00 higher. Steer and heifer calves mostly 4.00-6.00 higher. Demand moderate to good and improved some from last week. Cattle futures beginning to show some positive signs again, as limited cattle numbers continue to drive demand. Quality plain to average.

   
Feeder Steers: Medium and Large 1: Calves: 400-465 lbs thin fleshed 291.00-306.00, 450-500 lbs 263.00-297.00, lot 490 lbs fleshy 258.00; 500-550 lbs 264.50-281.00; 550-600 lbs 252.00-271.00; 600-630 lb 221.00-233.00, fancy calves 238.00-240.00; few 675-685 lbs 215.00-218.50; lot 700 lbs 214.50; load 730 lb fancy calves 218.25; Yearlings: 600-625 lbs 236.00-241.00; 650-700 lbs 229.00-236.00; 700-730 lbs 223.00-229.00; 750-800 lbs 218.50-224.00; 800-865 lbs 210.00-218.50; 900-950 lbs 205.75-209.50; 1000-1025 lbs 197.50-201.00.
