Emily Smith of Elk City FFA Shows Grand Champion Lamb at Tulsa State Fair

Emily Smith of Elk City FFA Shows Grand Champion Lamb at Tulsa State Fair The McDonalds Night of Champions was the showring finale of the 2014 Tulsa State Fair Junior Market Animal Show, with all four major species being brought to the Ford Truck Arena as the Breed and Division Champs were looked at one final time by the judges, with the result a Grand Champion and a Reserve Grand Champion named for the Goats, Sheep, Hogs and Cattle.

The top animals in all four species will be sold in the premium auction to be hosted by the Tulsa State Fair and the Tulsa Ringmasters at 5:00 PM Thursday afternoon- also happening in the Ford Truck Arena.

The Grand Champion Wether Lamb was the winner in the "Natural" Division and was shown by Emily Smith of the Elk City FFA. The Reserve Grand Champion Market Lamb was the Crossbred Champion- shown by Hunter Dugan of the Tecumseh FFA.

Reserve- Peyton Burns, Kingfisher FFA


Shropshire

Champion- Emily Morris, Fairland FFA
Reserve- Allison Rhodes, Fort Cobb Broxton FFA


Dorset

Champion- Maddie Mason, Fairview FFA
Reserve- Mason Smith, Elk City FFA


Speckle

Champion- Taylor Chambers, Tushka FFA
Reserve- Brooklyn Tramsey, Riply 4-H


Haired Sheep

Champion- Kaylee Shenold, Mulhall-Orlando FFA
Reserve- John Belson, Chickasha FFA


Hampshire

Champion- Amber Cox, Morrison FFA
Reserve- Lydia Straka, El Reno 4-H


Suffolk

Champion- Emily Smith, Elk City FFA
Reserve- Bailey Hunter, Arapaho- Butler FFA


Natural

Champion- Emily Smith, Elk City FFA
Reserve- Hunter Dugan, Tecumseh FFA


Crossbred
