Kim Anderson Talks Wheat Tours- During his regular segment on the weekly OSU Ag Communications produced television program, SUNUP, Dr. Kim Anderson talks lower wheat prices, a bigger wheat crop here in the southern plains and the challenge of having enough storage. You can hear Kim's comments made this week to SUNUP's Dave Deken by clicking on the LISTEN BAR below.


Meanwhile, this week on SUNUP, the spotlight is on ticks and what to do when they get on livestock and humans.


In the Mesonet report, Al Sutherland shows how dry it is deeper in the soil, and Gary McManus has great news about drought in Oklahoma.


Next, Derrell Peel explains why cattle prices are slowing and how close the U.S. cattle herd is to pre-2011 numbers.


In Cow-Calf Corner, Glenn Selk says it is important to learn from previous calving seasons when planning for the spring calving season.
