Superior Livestock Auction Shares Results of Its May 18th Video Sale Featuring 27,500 Head Superior Livestock Auction's May 18th Video Auction


Superior Livestock Auction hosted its bi-monthly May 18th Video Auction from their studio in the Historic Fort Worth Stockyards. Cattle producers offered 27,500 head of calves, yearlings and breeding stock from 18 states for this auction. Superior Livestock went live at 7:30am CT with Superior Sunrise and the auction followed at 8am CT. This May 18th Video Auction was broadcast live on DISH channel 232 and streamed on Superior Livestock Auction's Click To Bid website. Following last offerings strong market performance, the May 18th Video Auction revealed more steady and consistent market activity. What was also noteworthy is the robust bred stock section that was offered during this auction which saw a high demand for quality exposed and bred heifers.


Yearling steers were $4 to $6 lower and yearling heifers were steady to $6 lower from Superior's impressive May 4th Video Auction. Weaned steer calves were steady and weaned heifer calves were steady to $5 lower. Calves on cows were steady to $6 lower.
