Steer Calves Trade 4.00 to 8.00 Lower Tuesday at OKC West Livestock Auction in El Reno, Okla. OKC West - El Reno, OK
Feeder Cattle Auction Report for 10/17/2017




Total Receipts:        3,500




Compared to last Tuesday:   Steer calves traded 4.00-8.00 lower and
heifer calves sold 3.00-5.00 lower on limited comparable offerings.
Demand moderate to good for weaned calves, very light for unweaned fleshy
calves. Quality average to attractive with several strings of fleshier
type cattle on offer. Feeder cattle supply included 55 percent Steers, 0
percent Dairy Steers, 37 percent Heifers, and 8 percent Bulls. Feeder
cattle supply over 600 lbs was 29 percent.




Feeder Steers(Per CWT): Medium and Large 1 300-400 lbs 187.50-195.00,
329 lbs Fancy 217.00, 382 lbs Thin Fleshed 210.00; 400-500 lbs 163.00-
188.00, Fleshy 150.00-169.00; 500-600 lbs 158.00-172.00, 505 lbs Fancy
172.00, Fleshy 148.00-160.00, 502 lbs Thin Fleshed 180.00; 600-700 lbs
161.00-164.50, Calves 141.00-162.00; 703 lbs 160.00, Calves 140.00-159.00.




Feeder Heifers(Per CWT): Medium and Large 1 331 lbs 167.50, 333 lbs
Fancy 171.00; 400-500 lbs 151.00-154.00, 469 lbs Fleshy 152.00; 500-600
lbs 147.50-155.00, Fleshy 131.00-146.00; 600-700 lbs 150.00-153.50, Calves
138.00-148.00; 701 lbs 147.00.




Feeder Bulls(Per CWT): Medium and Large 1 300-400 lbs 170.00-195.00;
508 lbs 156.00; 633 lbs Calves 135.00; 817 lbs Fleshy 120.00.
