Feeder Steers Traded 2.00-4.00 Higher, Heifers 1.00-3.00 Lower Wednesday at OKC West Livestock OKC West - El Reno, OK

Total Receipts:     7,982


Compared to last week: Feeder steers traded 2.00-4.00 higher. Feeder
heifers sold 1.00-3.00 lower after last week's higher market. Steer calves
traded 3.00-6.00 higher, heifer calves sold mostly firm where comparable sales
were noted. Demand good to very good for all classes. Quality plain to
average, few attractive. Heavy rainfall came across the trade area bring
unseasonably cooler temps well into the forecast. Feeder cattle supply
included 57 percent Steers, 42 percent Heifers, and 0 percent Bulls. Feeder
cattle supply over 600 lbs was 75 percent.
