Agricultural Alliance 25x'25 Urges Industry Groups to Sign On In Support of Domestic Bioenergy

Fri, 19 Oct 2018 12:46:55 CDT

Agricultural Alliance 25x'25 Urges Industry Groups to Sign On In Support of Domestic Bioenergy 25x'25 calls on partners, stakeholders and other renewable energy interests to sign on to a Statement of Support recognizing the tremendous role the utilization of local, sustainable biomass resources has on improving forest health, reducing emissions, and creating jobs and economic opportunity in rural America.

The statement will be released next Wednesday, Oct. 24, the day when National Bioenergy Day 2018 (http://bioenergyday.com/) will be observed.

Please note that the statement is not an endorsement of policies regarding biomass utilization, but rather, an expression of general support to policy makers and stakeholders for continued domestic utilization of local sources of biomass for a variety of end uses, including renewable heating and cooling, energy, and biobased materials.

This statement has been organized by the Environmental and Energy Study Institute and Sustainable Northwest. You will receive a copy of the statement after you sign on. For more information or questions, please contact Jessie Stolark at jstolark@eesi.org.

The deadline to sign on is this coming Monday afternoon, Oct. 22, in order to have your company or organization acknowledged during any activities related to National Bioenergy Day where the Support Statement is publicized. However, signatures will be accepted through next Friday, Oct. 26 for a later release.
