Berkley McKay of Mulhall-Orlando 4-H Shows the Supreme Champion Commercial Gilt at the 2019 OYE

Berkley McKay of Mulhall-Orlando 4-H Shows the Supreme Champion Commercial Gilt at the 2019 OYE


4-Hers took the top two spots in the Oklahoma Youth Expo 2019 Supreme Commercial Gilt Drive that happened just after noon on Friday at the State Fair Park in Oklahoma City. A Happy Berkley Mckay of Mulhall-Orlando 4-H won the Supreme Champion Commercial Gilt honors. Her gilt will be the first of 60 Commercial gilts to be sold Wednesday evening at the OYE Night of Stars Gilt Sale. The Pedigree shows King of the Hill x Fortune lineage from Nate Warner Livestock. (Pictured here is Berkley being congratulated by judge Justin Rodibaugh of Indiana.


Adison Thompson of Noble had the second best Commercial gilt from the more than 1,300 shown- taking the Reserve Supreme Commercial Gilt honors. Breeding shows HMB 71 x Red 7 from JD Showpigs for Adison's gilt- she had the Reserve Champion Gilt in Division Three- the heaviest classes of the Commercial gilts.   Adison's gilt will also sell Wednewsday in the OYE Night of Stars Gilt Sale.
