Compared to last week, steer and heifer calves mostly steady to 2.00 higher, yearlings steady to 2.00 higher. Demand moderate for calves, good for yearlings, supply moderate to heavy. Live Cattle and Feeder Cattle futures closing with triple digit gains, provided some optimism to the feeder cattle trade. The weather ideal for gathering and moving cattle to market. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (52% Steers, 40% Heifers, 7% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 58%.
