Back in 1987, Superior Livestock Auctions introduced Satellite video marketing to the nation's livestock industry, and today they are the largest cattle marketing network in North America. If you've always wanted to watch a Superior Livestock auction in Action, You are in luck. Superior will be doing a live broadcast from Embassy Suites on Thursday, Feb 20th, in Norman, Oklahoma.
The President of Superior Livestock Auction, Danny Jones. said they are off to a good start, "We had a had the best January we've had in several years. We're fortunate that people continue to find value and marketing their cattle the way we do it and more and more people turn that way. We've had a good, good start to this year, and 2019 was a considerably better year than 2018, so we're looking forward to continued growth."
This particular sale gives folks in Oklahoma, a chance to come to the sale and watch the process and see how superior does business. Jones says this is a time when consigners can see what's going on and be a part of the auction environment.
The concept of video auctions is embraced and has really taken off. Jones says he wants to make sure producers get all they can out of the auction, "People like we said, are continuing to find value in load lots from their ranch direct to the buyer. And that's what a superior is all about. Bringing the price discovery to that process, a bigger buyer base, and bringing a greater selection of cattle to the buyers so that there's room for everyone to win."
Jones reminds producers that they can be seen on Channel 997 of Dish Network. Everyone who has Dish Network can get that channel without any additional package. For more information on the Superior Livestock Sale you can visit their website.
