Feeder Steers Mostly Lower, Feeder Heifers Steady to Higher, Steer and Heifer Calves Steady to Lower at Woodward Livestock Auction

Compared to last week: Feeder steers 1.00-3.00 lower, except a few load lots 850-900 lbs 3.00-4.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to 3.00 higher, most advance over 700 lbs. Demand moderate to good for feeder cattle. Steer and heifer calves steady to 3.00 lower, un-weaned or short weaned calves 2.00-8.00 lower. Demand moderate for calves. Dry weather and very uneven temperatures is limiting demand for
calves. Quality average, few attractive. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (49% Steers, 49% Heifers, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 71%.
