Nice Weather Attracting Good Crowd to Tulsa Farm Show
Fri, 26 Feb 2021 15:37:34 CST
Warmer, drier weather is producing good crowds at the Tulsa Farm Show said Scott Guttormson, show manager for Midwest Shows.
Guttormson was interviewed Friday by Radio Oklahoma Agriculture Network Associate Farm Director and Editor KC Sheperd.
The crowd started to pick up late morning and was going full blast Friday afternoon, he said.
He noted the farm show will open at 9 a.m. Saturday and close at 4 p.m.
We expect Saturday to be our biggest day of the show, Guttormson said.
The show boasts about 300 exhibitors with many new exhibitors plus many of the regular ones, he said.
People are happy to be out and about after being cooped up by the cold weather, he said.
I think coming here and seeing some old friends, making new friends is great, he said.
The show manager reminded us that the Oklahoma City Farm Show is right around the corner, April 15 at Bennet Event Center on the Oklahoma State Fairgrounds.
Many of the same exhibitors at the Tulsa show will also be in Oklahoma City, Guttormson said.
