Large Crowds Enjoying Oklahoma City Farm Show
Fri, 16 Apr 2021 15:02:08 CDT
Large crowds are again making their way to the Oklahoma City Farm Show, said Scott Guttormson, show manager for Midwest Shows.
Guttormson was interviewed Friday by Radio Oklahoma Agriculture Network Associate Farm Director and Editor KC Sheperd.
We carried our good crowd over from Tulsa, he said, noting the February show in Tulsa also had good sized crowds.
Maybe it's the rainy weather or maybe just the desire to get out of the house.
One of the big daily attractions is the drawing for $1,000 to spend at any vendor at the show.
What a better place to view the latest farm equipment and it is a safe place to visit, he noted, as all the booths are spaced widely apart.
Everybody is giving away free pens, walking sticks, candy and more, he said.
It's a tradition and you see a lot of kids here too, he said.
The show runs until 5 p.m. Friday and the doors open at 9 a.m. Saturday, closing at 4 p.m.
This wraps up the spring farm show season for Midwest Shows as their next event is in late November.
