New Coverage by Union Mutual Insurance is Good News for Oklahoma Poultry Producers

Fri, 01 Oct 2021 15:02:10 CDT

New Coverage by Union Mutual Insurance is Good News for Oklahoma Poultry Producers Union Mutual Insurance company has done a great job of serving Oklahoma's agricultural community throughout the years. The company is now offering a brand-new service. To announce it, Radio Oklahoma Ag Network's Ron Hays sat down with Marty Fuller, COO of Union Mutual Insurance.

"Historically, poultry producers have had a difficult time finding adequate insurance coverage for their poultry-confinement houses," Fuller said. "Especially at a competitive and affordable rate."

Now, Fuller is pleased to announce that Union Mutual can offer Oklahoma poultry producers comprehensive coverage within the Town and Country policy, but also insure their poultry-confinement houses.

"This coverage that we offer has a number of highlights that are very beneficial for poultry producers," Fuller said.

Some of those highlights include being able to insure poultry confinement houses of any age, loss-of-income coverage is built into it and every policy includes stand-by generator mechanical breakdown coverage, which is all unique to the industry, according to Fuller. Additionally, agreed on values on the confinement houses eliminate any potential coinsurance issues or penalties, he added.

Union Mutual is the oldest domestic property insurance company in Oklahoma, with an executive team with more than 115 years of experience combined in providing insurance to rural Oklahomans, Fuller said.

Fuller said he is proud that the company's focus is protection - not politics.

Contact your local Union Mutual Insurance Agent or call 405-286-7703 for more details.
