Latest Crop Progress Report Show Oklahoma Wheat is 37% Planted, 13% Emerged

Latest Crop Progress Report Show Oklahoma Wheat is 37% Planted, 13% Emerged USDA's weekly Crop Progress report, Monday, shows the nation's winter wheat crop is 47% planted, 3 points behind this time last year and 1 point behind the five-year average. 19% of the Country's winter wheat is emerged, 3 points behind this time last year and 1 point behind the five-year average.

U.S. corn condition at 59% good to excellent, the same as last two weeks. Soybean crop conditions 58% good to excellent, same as the last two weeks. Cotton crop conditions at 62% good to excellent, 3 points down from last week. Good to excellent grain sorghum condition is at 56%, same as the last two weeks.

The report shows 88% of the corn crop is mature, 3 points ahead of this time last year and more than 10 points ahead of the five-year average. 29% of the nation's corn crop is harvested, 5 points ahead of this time last year and 7 points ahead of the five-year average. The U.S. corn condition rating is 59% good to excellent, same as the last two weeks and 3 points below this time last year.

The Nation's soybeans dropping leaves is 86%, 3 points ahead of this time last year and 6 points ahead of the five-year average. So far, 34% of soybeans are harvested, 1 point behind this time last year and 8 points ahead of the five-year average. 58% is rated good to excellent, same as the last two weeks and 6 points below this time last year.

Cotton bolls opening is at 70%, more than 10 points behind this time last year and 5 points behind the five-year average. Cotton harvested is 13%, 3 points behind this time last year and 9 points behind the five-year average. Good to excellent cotton crop conditions is 62%, down 3 points from last week and more than 20 points up from this time last year.

The U.S. mature grain sorghum is at 79%, 4 points ahead of this time last year and more than 10 points ahead of the five-year average. For grain sorghum, 38% is harvested so far, 1 point ahead of this time last year and 2 points ahead of the five-year average. Good to excellent grain sorghum crop condition is 56%, same as last week and 5 points more than this time last year.

Finally, pasture and range conditions are 23% good to excellent, 31% fair and 46% poor to very poor - all the same as last week.

Oklahoma

According to the Oklahoma Crop Progress and Condition report, Oklahoma's winter wheat is 37% planted and 13% emerged.

Oklahoma corn crop condition is 72% good to excellent, 24% fair and 4% poor to very poor. Corn mature is at 86%. Corn harvested is 44%.

Oklahoma grain sorghum crop condition is 30% good to excellent, 33% fair and 37% poor to very poor. Sorghum coloring is at 97%. Mature Sorghum is at 79%. Grain sorghum harvested is at 21%.

Oklahoma soybean crop condition is 52% good to excellent, 32% fair and 16% poor to very poor. Soybeans setting pods is at 95%. Soybeans dropping leaves is at 50%. Soybeans harvested is 7%.

Oklahoma cotton crop condition is 70% good to excellent, 26% fair and 4% poor to very poor. Cotton bolls opening is at 82%.

Pasture and range condition is 33% good to excellent, 44% fair and 23% poor to very poor.

Kansas

According to the Kansas Crop Progress and Condition report winter wheat is 42% planted and 16% emerged.

Corn condition rated 52% good to excellent, 27% fair and 21% poor to very poor. Corn mature is 92%. Corn harvested is 51%.

Kansas soybean condition rated 58% good to excellent, 30% fair and 12% poor to very poor. Dropping leaves is 70%. Soybeans harvested is 14%.

Kansas grain sorghum condition rated 56% good to excellent, 31% fair and 13% poor to very poor. Grain sorghum mature is 70%. Grain sorghum harvested is 19%.

Kansas cotton crop condition rated 57% good to excellent, 38% fair and 5% poor to very poor. Cotton bolls opening is 71%. Cotton harvested is 1%.

Kansas pasture and range conditions rated 37% good to excellent, 38% fair and 25% poor to very poor.

Texas

According to the Texas Crop Progress and Condition report, winter wheat is 47% planted and 19% emerged.

Texas corn crop condition is 61% good to excellent, 29% fair and 10% poor to very poor. Corn mature is at 94%. Corn harvested is at 86%.

Texas grain sorghum crop condition is 63% good to excellent, 28% fair and 9% poor to very poor. Mature Sorghum is 95%. Sorghum harvested is 84%.

Texas soybean crop dropping leaves is 95%. Soybeans harvested is 69%.

Texas cotton crop condition is 57% good to excellent, 37% fair and 6% poor to very poor. Cotton bolls opening is 64%. Cotton harvested is 23%.

Pasture and range condition is 27% good to excellent, 38% fair and 35% poor to very poor.
