Compared to last week: Feeder steers steady to 3.00 higher. Feeder heifers steady to 2.00 lower. Demand good for steers, moderate for heifers. Steer and heifer calves unevenly steady. Demand light to moderate for short weaned or un-weaned calves. It is October and this week's forecast is calling for cool nights but highs will reach 90 by late week. These temperature swings make it difficult on health of calves. Quality mostly average. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (65% Steers, 33% Heifers, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 75%.
