Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts to Host 84th Annual State Meeting, "Sparking Conservation: Regenerative Ag & Conservation Partnerships"

Oklahoma City, OK - The Oklahoma Association of Conservation Districts, in partnership with the Oklahoma Conservation Commission, will host the 84th Annual State Meeting in at the Edmond Convention Center in Edmond, Oklahoma. The conference will be held on February 27th, February 28th, and March 1st. The 2022 OACD State Meeting theme is Sparking Conversation: Regenerative Ag & Conservation Partnerships and sessions have been designed to be interactive with high level conversations and breakout sessions.
The meeting features Regenerative Ag experts from across the country including Dan Kittredge, Ryan Speer, and Michael Thompson. Sessions include but are not limited to Julian Miller, Co-Founder and Board Vice Chairman of the Delta Fresh Foods Initiative discussing Economic Justice through Community Food System Development, Jimmy Emmons & Erin Martin leading a conversation on Regenerative Ag & The Human Health Link, and many more.
General Session speakers include Blayne Arthur, Oklahoma Secretary of Agriculture and a panel discussion on defining regenerative agriculture. Lt. Governor, Matt Pinnell, will provide the opening session welcome address. The meeting will also feature NRCS Partnership Awards & Service Awards, OACD Annual Awards, and a Legislative Banquet.
