Thu, 03 Mar 2022 20:46:41 CST
This week on Sunup, Crop Marketing specialist, Dr. Kim Anderson is talking about the affects of the Russia/Ukraine Tension and how that affects the grain markets. "The big impact has been on Wheat prices. Wheat stocks were already tight, stocks were going down, and because of COVID we came into this with some countries hoarding stocks and so we had a shortage of wheat already. And then on February 20, and 21 in Oklahoma, our price was right at $8 per bushel, this morning It was at $10.25. Thats a $2.40 price increase for the price of wheat in Oklahoma."
