Yearlings Higher- Calf Trade Mixed This Week at OKC West in El Reno OKC West Livestock Auction - El Reno, OK

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold 1.00-3.00 higher. Demand moderate to good for feeders. Steer and heifer calves that were long weaned and in thin condition suitable for grazing sold 2.00-4.00 higher. New crop calves or short weaned cattle traded 3.00-5.00 lower. Demand good for grazing calves, light to moderate fir the remainder of the sale. Severe thunder storms bringing much needed
rainfall are in the forecast for the remainder of the week. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (54% Steers, 44% Heifers, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 81%.
