Feeder Steers and Heifers Lower, New Crop Calves Lower at OKC West - El Reno OKC West Livestock Auction - El Reno, OK

Compared to last week: Feeder steers traded 3.00-5.00 lower. Feeder heifers sold 2.00-4.00 lower. Demand light to moderate for feeders. Steer and heifer calves that were long weaned and suitable for grazing sold mostly steady. Un-weaned, bawling new crop calves traded 2.00-4.00 lower. Demand moderate for all calves. Cooler temperatures are in the forecast for late in the week and weekend. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (67% Steers, 32% Heifers, 1% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 88%.
