Feeder Steers and Heifers Higher, Steer and Heifer Calves Higher at OKC West - El Reno

Compared to last week: Feeder steers and heifers sold 5.00-10.00 higher. Demand very good for feeders, sharp inclines on both the CME Feeder and Live cattle contracts has sparked buyer interest. Steer and heifer calves sold 8.00-12.00 higher. Demand good to very good. Heavy rainfall across most of the trade area last weekend has grazing cattle in very good demand. Supply included: 100% Feeder Cattle (48% Steers, 0% Dairy Steers, 50% Heifers, 2% Bulls). Feeder cattle supply over 600 lbs was 80%.
