The hay trade continues to be imported into Oklahoma from other states. As the hay producers look toward the future, their top priority right now is rain. The rain will bring ease to everyone as it helps their crops, water for their ponds, and fields to graze for the future.
As we look at the Oklahoma Mesonet Drought Monitor we are at 11.77 percent in exceptional drought, 57.90 percent in an extreme drought, 81.01 percent in severe drought, 89.12 percent in moderate, 97.96 percent in abnormally dry conditions, and 2.04 percent that has no drought conditions are located in Adair and Sequoyah County.
