The 2024 hard red winter (HRW) harvest is well underway in the South, Southeast, Texas, and Oklahoma. Test cutting has started in south-central Kansas but recent rain has slowed progress. Spring wheat planting made good progress and is at least 84% complete. First samples of soft red winter (SRW) are expected soon for initial testing.
