U.S. Wheat Associates Harvest Report for July 12, 2024

GIVING IT A GO IN WASHINGTON. Brian Cochrane shared this photo on July 10, along with a note saying “We are giving it a go” on Cochrane Son’s Wheat Ranch in southeast Washington –  Kahlotus, Washington to be exact.

The HRW harvest is 34% complete with more than 300 samples in the lab for testing. The SRW harvest is winding down
and currently grades a U.S. #2 SRW. The PNW continues to trend hot and dry as the SW crop matures and harvest gets
underway. After mild temperatures and plentiful moisture, the weather pattern is shifting for HRS and Northern durum
crops.
