Oklahoma State University Agriculture will share a special announcement about the OSU Agronomy Research Station in Stillwater on Aug. 9. The research station directly serves OSU’s land-grant mission of teaching, research and Extension and includes 28 buildings utilized for classroom instruction, greenhouse trials, research and support services.
The Agronomy Research Station is home to the Wheat Improvement Team, recognized as one of the world’s top wheat breeding programs. Since 2000, this team of scientists has commercialized 36 varieties accounting for 71% of all wheat acres planted in Oklahoma and around 10% across the country.
