Okfuskee County Cattlemen’s Association Annual Banquet Coming up on September 28th.

The Okfuskee County Cattlemen’s Association (OCCA) is pleased to announce its yearly fundraising event will take place on Saturday, September 28, 2024 at 6 p.m. at the Okfuskee County Fairgrounds, in Okemah.

This free event will welcome beef industry vendors, a live auction, Pepino’s Mexican Restaurant enchiladas, homemade desserts, and guest speaker Michael Kelsey, Executive Vice President of Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association. The enchilada dinner by Pepino’s Mexican Restaurant is completely sponsored by American Exchange Bank in Okemah. No membership is required to attend. Please bring your families and friends to enjoy an evening of fun and good food together to raise money for a great cause.

Come join a group of beef producers from surrounding communities who help promote education and agriculture. This member led and driven organization has a vision to be the leadership that serves, strengthens, and advocates for the Oklahoma cattle industry. No ownership of cattle is required. If you enjoy a hamburger then you are a part of the cattle industry here in Oklahoma. Come join other producers and neighbors for an evening of education, community, and fun! This event funds our prize goals for local Okfuskee County 4-H and FFA members who participate in the OCCA Carcass Contest in the spring and for graduation scholarships. Weigh in for the Carcass Contest was September 7th and contestants are encouraged to bring their families for the Annual Banquet too.

To become a vendor, sponsor, or provide a homemade dessert for auction please contact Tom Goode at (940) 393-9815.
