Hay Trade Slow to Steady

Receipts: 5,164 Last Reported: 4,635 Year Ago:4,146 Compared to the last report, the hay trade is slow to steady. Rain continues to move across Oklahoma and will continue for most of November. Some hay has been sold to new customers, but most of the movement of the trades are still mainly long-time customers and contracted hay

The Oklahoma Mesonet Drought Monitor shows we are at 0 percent in exceptional drought, 0 percent in an extreme drought, 1.85 percent in severe drought, 17.90 percent in moderate, and 52.78 percent in abnormally dry conditions, and 47.22 percent that has no drought conditions.
