The Limousin and Lim-Flex Pen Show ramps up Limousin activities at the 2025 Cattlemen’s Congress. The show took place on Tuesday, January 7, 2025. Chan Phillips, Maysville, Ky. evaluated the bulls.
Deb V, Treynor, Iowa, exhibited the Grand Champion Pen of Lim-Flex Bulls. The champion pen included January and February 2024 born bulls. They combined for an average weight of 1246 pounds with an average weight per day of age of 3.53. All pen bulls were ultrasound scanned at check-in time. This champion pen had average actual scan data of 16.10 ribeye area, 2.99% IMF, and 0.34 back fat.
The Reserve Champion Pen of Lim-Flex Bulls was exhibited by Lawrence Family Limousin, Levelland, Texas. The October and November 2023 born pen had an average weight of 1414 pounds with a 3.23 average weight per day of age. Their average ultrasound scan data was 17.25 ribeye area, 4.55% IMF, and 0.39 back fat.
Lawrence Family Limousin also won the People’s Choice Champion Lim-Flex Pen award with their October and November 2023 born pen.
