Multiple reports around the state are now pointing to Dr. Kayse Shrum resigning as President of Oklahoma State University. Those reports include sources that have been contacted by the Oklahoma Farm Report.

The college paper O’Colly cites a “report.” They report “OSU’s 19th president, the first female in her role, will reportly step down Wednesday, as first reported by Reese Gorman of NOTUS.

“Shrum, 52, was first named OSU’s president in April 2021 and assumed the role in July.”

“If true, this will mark a search for OSU’s 20th president and will be the first time the university searches for a new face since October 2020, when Burns Hargis announced his retirement.”
