
Oklahomans are stepping up to help their neighbors in need after recent wildfires left many families displaced. From local bagpiper to a beloved soccer coach, residents are turning to the community to help those who have lost their homes. Help support the McKinley Family after the Stillwater fire: (Stillwater) Scott and Brittany McKinley lost everything when wildfires swept through Stillwater, OK, on March 14, turning their home to ashes just as their spring break with their two young daughters began. Known for their generosity and hospitality, they now need support as they navigate the challenges of rebuilding, replacing essentials, and recovering from this devastating loss. Andrew Turner, one of the fundraiser organizers, shared Scott is known for playing his bagpipes at funerals to soothe grief. In a recent Facebook video, Scott is seen playing the bagpipes in front of what used to be his home. Support the Abai Family After Wildfire Loss: (Stillwater) Coach Clement Abai, his wife Dr. Mumbe Kithakye, and their children, Mwende and KeKe, lost their Stillwater home in the recent wildfires, leaving them in urgent need of support. A dedicated mentor and leader in the soccer community, Clement has given so much to others, and now the community is rallying to help his family rebuild and recover from this devastating loss.

Help the Maxwell-Moranz Family Rebuild: (Stillwater,OK) The Maxwell-Moranz family lost their home and all their belongings in the Stillwater wildfires, escaping with only their lives. Now, after years of giving back to their community, Dr. Lara Maxwell, a dedicated OSU professor, and her husband, Dr. Moranz, who has supported local farmers and ranchers, need urgent support to secure housing, essentials, and begin rebuilding.
