The Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association (OCA) hosted the highly anticipated 2025 Beef Day at the Capitol, a vibrant celebration highlighting the legacy and tremendous quality of the beef industry in Oklahoma. The event, held on May 1st, saw an impressive turnout as 500 ribeye steak sandwiches were served to attendees, accompanied by complimentary boot shines.
Legislators, legislative staff and Capitol personal enjoyed the ribeye sandwiches near the beautiful west lawn of the Capitol on a beautiful sunny midday in Oklahoma.
“The tremendous success of the 2025 Beef Day at the Capitol underscores the enduring importance of the beef industry to our state’s economy and heritage,” said Dr. Troy Shelby, President of the Oklahoma Cattlemen’s Association. “We are proud to showcase the dedication and innovation of our producers and partners, and OCA remains committed to advancing the interests of Oklahoma’s beef community every day of the Legislative session.”
The OCA is the trusted voice of the Oklahoma Cattle Industry and works to protect and empower Oklahoma cattlemen today, to serve tomorrow.
