– Latimer County Extension will host its annual AgricultHER conference geared toward women involved in agriculture statewide. The one-day conference includes hands-on learning, networking opportunities and a trade show. Registration is $35, and lunch is provided.
Session topics will include:
- Food labeling laws
- Certification in FAMACHA, a tool that manages parasite infections in small ruminants
- Pecan tree grafting
- Cattle handling
- Trailer backing
- Food preservation
