Erin Martin, founder of FreshRx Oklahoma, will be the keynote speaker at the Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women (OCSW) 2025 Summit, entitled “Navigating Women’s Wellness and Its Economic Impact.” The one-day summit will take place 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, at the Oklahoma City Community College Visual and Performing Arts Center, located at 7777 S. May Ave.

“This year’s summit will take a deeper look at the root causes that keep women from achieving long-term economic security and wellness,” said OCSW Chair Brenda Barwick. “From gaps in access to healthcare and nutritious food to the economic toll of chronic illness, we’ll be examining how wellness directly impacts a woman’s ability to thrive. Most importantly, we’ll be focusing on solutions – bringing together voices from across Oklahoma to help shape policy that supports healthier women, stronger families and a more resilient economy.”

Co-chaired by Commissioners Joy Hammons, Erin Engelke and Arnella Karges, the 2025 summit will offer solutions intended to help women live well and contribute fully to their families and communities. The summit is designed for anyone who wants to be part of the solution and have their voices heard in the process of developing public policy that gives women equal footing and better opportunities in the workforce and beyond.

The summit will feature several speakers who are experts in their fields. They will address current strategies and challenges, and their in-depth insights will help the commission recommend public policy solutions to the Oklahoma governor and Legislature. The day-long summit includes lunch. Tickets are available at $75 plus fees per person. Registration is required at the OCSW 2025 Summit webpage, which also contains the agenda and complete list of speakers. For sponsorship information, call (405) 401-6970.
