American Agri-Women (AAW) announce registration is open for their annual Symposium, “New Era in Public Land Management: Healthy Forests, Grazing, and Water Resources” that will be held at USDA in Washington, D.C. on Monday, June 9th.
The event will feature members of Congress and policy influencers including Congressman Cliff Bentz of Oregon, Congresswoman Harriet Hageman of Wyoming, USDA’s Under Secretary for Natural Resources and the Environment Kristin Sleeper, and the American Forest Resource Council’s Executive Director Travis Joseph as well as AAW President Rose Tryon who has also served as Vice Mayor of Paradise, California during its recovery from the widespread fires of 2018.
2025 marks the 30th Symposium hosted by American Agri-Women during their annual Fly-In to Washington, D.C. AAW members and invited guests will gather at the USDA on June 9th to hear from panelists while others can view the Symposium virtually.
The AAW Past President’s Council coordinates the symposium each year as a capstone event for their members and others to gain deeper understanding on complex issues. This year’s lineup of speakers has been asked to identify specific action items and policies to improve the long-term health of our country’s resources and rural economies.
Registration is open to view the live over Zoom HERE. Or participate in person, find details of the full event at www.americanagriwomen.org/events.
