The morning began with the Prospect Steer Show. The Grand Champion Prospect Steer, PC MATER 450M, born 09/10/2024, and was sired by LFL DELUXE EDITION 6029D ET. The steer was exhibited by Colt Parkinson, Levelland, Texas. Reserve Champion Prospect Steer, OC MAC 455M, was exhibited by Carly Walker, Kathleen, Ga., born 10/07/2024, was sired by M6 TEN ACES 1919.
The Progress Steer Show soon followed with he Grand Champion Progress Steer being RICHARDSON’S MUHAMMAD ALI. He was born 03/07/2024, was sired by MAYC GOLD BUCKLE 624G, and was exhibited by Hank Dykes, Moultrie, Ga. The Reserve Champion Progress Steer was SAWK TUPAC 483M ET, born 03/03/2024, was sired by HERE I AM, and was exhibited by Jacee Parrish, Liberty, Texas.
Grand Champion Lim-Flex Cow/Calf honors went to KESC LUCY’S MARVEL 5L ET. She was born 02/11/2023 as a 25% Lim-Flex out of RATLIFF GETCHA SUM 909G ET. The Grand Champion Bred and Owned Lim-Flex Female was SENNETT MAPLE 1M ET and was exhibited by Claire Sennett, Waynetown, Ind. She was born 01/24/2024, and is a 54% Lim-Flex, sired by sired by FWLY CAN DO, out of LFCC IT’S MY BIRTHRIGHT 43H ET. Ben Spencer, Gibbon, Neb., exhibited the Reserve Champion Bred and Owned Lim-Flex Female. In the Bred and Owned Limousin Bull Show, Ava Miller, Treynor, Iowa showed the Grand Champion. AVAM MICKEY MOUSE 401M was born 01/01/2024 and is a 73% Limousin who was sired by ALTER EGO and out of AVAM KIKI 205K.
