Oklahoma Wheat Harvest Season Completed In This Weeks Crop Progress

The US Winter Wheat Harvest is 80% complete as of July 28, 2025, versus 73% completed a week ago and versus the 81% five-year average.

Spring crop conditions nationally show the US Corn crop is at 73% good to excellent one point lower than last week.

The US Soybean crop is at 70% good to excellent, up 2 points from a week ago at 68%.

Cotton crop conditions are at 55% good to excellent, down 3 points from last week at 57%.

Grain Sorghum is down one point in the good to excellent category at 66% versus 68% a week ago.

Finally- the US Pasture and Range Conditions are at 45% good to excellent this week, up two points from last week at 43%.

In the southern plains- the 2025 Oklahoma winter wheat crop harvest is 100% complete as of yesterday, compared to 98% harvested a week ago

Kansas wheat producers are 99% harvested this week, versus 97% complete last week. Same as this time last year at 99% harvested.

Texas winter wheat harvest is 99% harvested this week versus last week at 97% harvested, compared to 100% a year ago.

As for our Summer crops in Oklahoma:

Corn crop conditions are now at 67% good to excellent this week vs 70% a week ago.

The Oklahoma soybean crop is at 46% good to excellent versus 54% a week ago.

Cotton in Oklahoma is at 53% good to excellent, versus 63% last week.

Grain Sorghum is at 77% good to excellent down 4 points from a week ago at 80%

Pasture and Range conditions are at 65% good to excellent this week versus 69% a week ago.

Checking Summer crops and Pastures in Kansas:

Corn crop conditions are rated 66% good to excellent this week versus 64% a week ago.

Soybean conditions are also rated 68% good to excellent this week, compared to 64% a week ago.

Cotton conditions in Kansas are rated 52% good to excellent this week versus 50% a week ago.

Grain Sorghum crop ratings are at 63% good to excellent this week versus 65% last week.

And Pasture and Range ratings are at 61% good to excellent.

Corn crop conditions are rated 63% good to excellent this week.

Cotton conditions in Texas are rated 50% good to excellent this week versus 52% a week ago.
