
Who doesn’t love pizza? It’s one of Oklahoma’s favorite foods — and it showcases so many of our state’s amazing agricultural products! From the wheat in the crust to the cheese, meat, and veggies on top, every slice tells an Oklahoma agriculture story.
The AITC Pizza Challenge gives students the chance to:
Create their own pizza recipe
Identify their target audience
Design marketing materials
Learn about Oklahoma’s agricultural industry
This fun, cross-curricular project reinforces skills in math, science, and ELA — all while helping students explore careers in our food system!
Who Can Participate:
Pre-K through 12th grade students
Individual, group, or classroom projects
Public, private, and homeschool groups welcome!
Entries will be judged on:
Use of Oklahoma agricultural products
Inventiveness, authenticity, and accuracy of recipes
Creativity and effectiveness of marketing materials
Spelling, grammar, and completeness in both recipe and marketing materials
