
Day two of Cattlemen’s Congress saw seven Beef Breeds competing and one National Sale held to help end the day’s activities. Breeds showing included Belted Galloway, Braunbvieh, Charolais, Aberdeen, Gelhvieh, Miniature Hereford and Black Hereford. The lone sale on Tuesday was the Congressional National Gelbvieh and Balancer sale- offering a total of 71 lots that sold for a total of $341,600. That included the bull pictured above- JRI Picasso 250N45ET. This bull was offered by Judd Ranch of Pomona, Kansas and was sold with full possession and 50% of semen to be produced for $31,000. He’s one week shy of celebrating his first birthday.

Besides the two purebred sales listed(one at the Fairgrounds and one at Heritage Place), Superior Livestock will be holding day one of their annual Bellringer Sale at the Embassy Suites Downtown (Just south of the State Capitol) starting at 8 AM on Tuesday.
