Thursday is set to be the busiest day yet at the 2026 Cattlemen’s Congress- as several of the major breeds will be grabbing the spotlight in both the OG&E Coliseum as well as the Performance Arena. Angus, Red Angus, Hereford and Maine Anjou will be competing at this national level. In addition, there will be three sales at the Fairgrounds- the much anticipated Cattlemen’s Congress Commercial Heifer Sale, the Angus at the Congress Sale and the Smart Auction at the Congress. Looking back to Wednesday- the Cattlemen’s Congress had their very first Junior Speech Contest- and Oklahoma Farm Report’s Ron Hays had the chance to interview one of the youngest contestants- and one of the seniors competing on Wednesday as well- eight year old Mila Perez of Canyon, Texas and High School Senior Annie Schneider of the Seiling FFA.
