From changing a tire to checking the oil, novice drivers have a lot to learn about cars. AAA is hosting ‘Teen’ Night at the Garage’ – a series of fun, educational evenings that will not only take the mystery out of car care but help keep teen drivers safe on the roads. Teens will learn proper vehicle maintenance, how to self-diagnose possible issues with their vehicles, safe driving skills, and anti-texting and driving information.
“Along with obeying the rules of the road, it is important that our young drivers learn from the start that basic vehicle maintenance is also critical to ensuring their safety and the safety of their passengers,” says Don Paxton, district director, AAA Tire and Auto Center. “Teens who invest a few hours with us in this fun setting will pick up skills to last a lifetime.”
