The Oklahoma Department of Veterans Affairs (ODVA) is proud to announce a new partnership with Major Talent, a workforce development organization dedicated to equipping Veterans with the tools and confidence needed to take ownership of their career journey.

Through this collaboration, Oklahoma Veterans will gain access to a comprehensive suite of career-building resources, including military-to-civilian skills translation support, professional resume writing, interview preparation, and job placement strategies. These services are designed to help Veterans navigate today’s competitive job market and transition successfully into meaningful civilian careers.

“Our mission at ODVA is to serve and support those who have served us,” said Jay Bynum, Executive Director of ODVA. “This partnership with Major Talent reflects our ongoing commitment to empower Oklahoma Veterans with real
opportunities for personal and professional success.”

Major Talent specializes in working with transitioning service members and Veterans by offering tailored career development programs that align with individual skills, experience, and goals. The tools provided through this initiative will help Veterans clearly articulate their military experience in terms that resonate with civilian employers.

“This is about more than just finding a job,” said a spokesperson for Major Talent. “It’s about helping Veterans take charge of their futures with purpose, clarity, and confidence.”

Veterans interested in these services can learn more through the ODVA website (https://oklahoma.gov/veterans.html) or by contacting Randall Coon at randall.coon@odva.ok.gov.
