
During the Stockmanship & Stewardship event Aug. 13-14 in Canyon, there will be an abundance of workshops meant to enhance producers’ knowledge of cattle handling and safety, leading to profitability and better animal welfare. Topics being covered include cattle processing, nutrition, horse and cattle safety in the pen, and biosecurity. Attendees will walk away with new knowledge to implement on their ranch or farm.

This simple tool allows producers to attend impactful cattle industry events, without busting the budget. Submit the application for the grant at least 21 days prior to the event, complete an online module, and be eligible to receive reimbursement for housing and registration costs.
