Every October, schools and communities across the country celebrate National Farm to School Month with hands-on learning, school gardens, and lunch trays filled with healthy, local foods that support kids and Oklahoma farmers.
In honor of National Food Day on October 24, 2025, Oklahoma Farm to School will host the second annual Great Oklahoma Lunch Crunch—a statewide celebration where cafeterias highlight local produce and meats. Students enjoy a meal featuring Oklahoma-grown foods and then join together for a big “crunch” into something fresh and healthy.
