With cooler temperatures settling in across Oklahoma, now is the time for warmth. May Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram is partnering with Operation Warm to provide hundreds of brand-new winter coats to children and youth in the Chandler community this Saturday, October 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Families are encouraged to arrive early as coats will be distributed first-come, first-served while supplies last.
To make the morning enjoyable for families, the dealership is also hosting a free community fall event featuring:
· A small petting zoo
· Kids games & activities
· Food trucks
This community effort reflects the dealership’s motto, “Driven to Serve,” and is inspired by the lived experience of owner Roosevelt May, who grew up with six siblings in a single-parent household.
“I know firsthand what it’s like to head into winter without a good coat,” said Roosevelt May. “We are new to the Chandler community, and we want to show up for our kids. If a warm coat can give a child comfort and confidence, then we’re proud to provide it.”
